Summary:
Looking for a sales-driven individual with a love for technology, preferably with experience in media sales. Sales Assistants have the responsibility of supporting the outside and insides sales teams, managing sales schedules, report preparation, handling mailings and database maintenance. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. Proficient use of mainstream desktop applications--Word, Excel and PowerPoint--preferred.
Duties Include:
• Profiling of account base
• Develop and support assigned accounts to meet higher revenue/unit goals
• Maintain consistent telephone contact for all assigned accounts, according to a quarterly engagement plan
• Handle all outbound/inbound calls, e-mail, instant message and other related tasks as they apply to servicing assigned accounts
• Interface with and support appropriate client management personnel
• Meet or exceed stated revenue/unit goals
• Provide support on issue resolution/escalation
• Sales support to East Coast sales team
• Responsible for prospecting from Createyournextcustomer.com leads and develop new leads – 5 – 7 new per week
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• One to two years’ sales experience with exposure to many levels of management.
• Knowledge of computer terms and understanding of computer concepts. Intermediate to advanced pc user preferred.
• Skill in word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and effective communications.
• Ability to be highly organized and able to prioritize. Follow-up on projects and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
• Able to effectively function in a team-oriented environment
• Strong written and verbal communication
